Chuck Osterink began his career with MVP Sports Clubs in 1999, serving first as the Director of Operations for the RDV Ice Den located at the RDV Sportsplex in Orlando. Osterink soon transitioned into the role of Vice President of Human Resources and later advanced to become the Chief Operating Officer in 2021. Osterink was promoted to President of MVP Sports Clubs in September 2023.
Osterink received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and currently serves on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Scott Hendrickson was named Vice President of Operations in 2018. Since joining the company in 2005, Hendrickson worked in various roles in member services, operations, and sales, advanced to a role as Senior Manager of Operations, and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2014.
Hendrickson has a bachelor’s degree in sports management and communications from the University of Michigan, and currently serves on the campus leadership team at Jamestown Harbor Church in Hudsonville, Michigan.
John Backing joined MVP Sports Clubs in August 2022 as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations. Prior to joining the team, he served as the Finance Manager for PSG Dover. John brings to his role experience in process improvement, maximizing revenue, and minimizing risk.
After graduating from Michigan State University, Emily started her career at Walt Disney World where she held many different roles in Entertainment, Resort Leadership, and College Recruitment. After fulfilling her dreams at the happiest place on earth, she set her sights on recruiting for the largest Starwood property- the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.
Emily started her career with MVP leading the Talent Acquisition teams in both regions, with prior recruitment experience in both markets in her pocket she was promoted to Director of Human Resources over both regions to kick off 2020.
Derek Atkins returned MVP Sports Clubs in August 2021 as Manager Engagement Manager after previously working for the company in various operational and leadership roles from 2006-2011. Derek brings to his role the ability to creatively bring out the best in employees and teams, helping them to meet their goals through collaborative strategic planning, process improvement, and training initiatives.
Kristen Tobert joined the MVP Sports Clubs team in June 2022. Prior to beginning in this role, she served as the Communications Director for Davenport University. Kristen brings to her role experience in strategic marketing and communications, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, graphic design, and targeted social and email marketing approaches.
