MICHIGAN

FITNESS FACILITIES — In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order, our clubs remain CLOSED at this time. Once restrictions have been lifted, we will carefully open with a phased approach to ensure the confidence and peace of mind for members and our team. This approach includes cleaning, safety and distancing protocols that align with CDC guidelines and industry best practices.

 

We will communicate an opening date and our Phase 1 operational plan via email, our website and social media pages. Membership dues will not be charged until the club has reopened.

 

OUTDOOR POOLS — In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order, our outdoor pools opened on Saturday, June 13. Access to the outdoor pools is only available to those that purchased a JULY POOL PASS or through the purchase of a day pool pass available until we reach 80% capacity. Visit your specific outdoor pool location for details.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I be charged monthly membership dues while the club is temporarily closed?
  • No new membership dues will be charged to any accounts until your location reopens.
  • All memberships will receive prorated dues credit to their membership account for the period of March 16-March 31.
  • Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Dues credit will be available to be applied towards future dues and other charges on your membership account on the date the club re-opens.
  • All Medicare memberships will retain their active status during the time of closure.

How will future updates be communicated?
All operational and membership updates will be communicated via email, this website page and our social media channels.
How are you handling registrations for a one-time event?
For one-time events (Spring Break Camp, Kid’s Night Out, etc), we will provide refunds to impacted members for events that will not happen while the club is temporarily closed.
How are you handling registration/payment for recurring lessons or services?
  • For recurring services that have already been processed (Swim Lessons, Tennis Lessons, etc), we will provide credits that can be applied towards future charges on your membership account.
  • Expiration dates for sessions and packages will be extended to ensure sessions will not expire during our temporary closure (Training, Massage, etc).
  • ACTIV8 Challenge participants will receive a refund for the prorated sessions not completed due to the closure.

We are excited to up the rewards for your daily FitBit activity. During this time, you will earn 15 HEALTH POINTS for reaching 10,000 steps. Get moving, get rewarded!

REPORTING

Our commitment to the safety and health of our members, customers and team members is our number one priority. As a company dedicated to building healthy communities, we know how important it is for you to have the confidence and peace of mind that you are returning to the safest environment possible.

 

Through research, CDC guidelines and industry best practices, we have formulated extensive cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Our team has gone through hours of safety training, are required to wear protective face coverings while at work and are vigilant in the reinforcement of front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house sanitation procedures to keep our buildings clean and safe.

 

As we begin to reopen our locations, we remain committed to transparent communication with our MVP community. We feel this transparency includes being forthcoming with any positive or known cases of COVID-19 in our facilities. As soon as we are aware of a case, we will post it here.

Due to our increased cleaning protocols and schedules, and CDC research and guidelines on the spread of the virus, we are confident that all surfaces have been effectively disinfected in the facility since the most recent visit of the team member.
