Adult Tennis Programming

Free Swing
  • Description: This introductory group tennis class offers an alternative way to exercise. Expand your horizons and work out in a whole new way. This class involves basic techniques for adults combined with fast paced drills. Enjoy the camaraderie tennis has to offer in this Intro to tennis class. *seasonally held outdoors
  • This is a group fitness class that is offered throughout the week

Cardio Tennis
  • Description: Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate, high-energy workout. Cardio Tennis includes warm-up, cardio workout, and cool-down phases. If you are looking for a great way to get in shape and burn calories, you must try Cardio Tennis!
  • 60 or 90 minute class

Adult Beginner Drill
  • Description: USA Tennis is a United States Tennis Association nationally recognized beginning adults tennis program. Players will develop and understand: grips, footwork, court positioning, and scoring.
  • 60 minute class | 5-7 week long sessions

Adult Intermediate Drill
  • Description: Adult Intermediate Drill is the next step from our Adult Beginner Drill for players with solid rallying skills who are looking to advance their game. This class will focus on live ball play and developing good habits in a cooperative environment.
  • 60 minute class | 5-7 week long sessions

50/50 Clinic
  • Description: Interested in a great cardio workout that incorporates instruction and drills? We have the perfect class! The 50/50 Clinic is 50% instruction and 50% Cardio Tennis. This is the perfect class for the individual who wants a great workout while improving your game!
  • 60 or 90 minute class | 5-7 week long sessions

Travel Team
  • Description:The Tennis Department has formed USTA travel teams to compete in local tennis leagues. These teams compete with teams of similar abilities from the area. Membership at the Athletic Club is NOT mandatory for travel team play. Non-members may compete on any travel team by registering with a non-member travel team fee.
  • 90 minute or 120 minute options | 5-7 week long sessions
